FLATTENING CONVEYOR

This conveyor was developed to ensure bags being palletized were as dense as possible, for ease in packing and shipping. This device can be used in a variety of environments and applications by changing the type of belting used to convey the product. Custom configurations are also available depending on the product being flattened.

This conveyor is typically made of an in-feed conveyor (driven from the incline conveyor), an incline conveyor, and a third conveyor inverted over the incline conveyor. The inverted conveyor rides on a slide system that allows for weight of the conveyor to do the actual flattening. The distance between the lower conveyor and the inverted conveyor is easily adjustable, and allows for multiple thicknesses to be achieved by a single unit. The incline is set to customer specifications, as is the overall length of the unit. A nose conveyor (or exit conveyor, or both) can be added to the unit as well.
